It's not a cliche. It's not an advise. Its a prophetic word. I know so - in the new year, as the Lord lives, it will be alright. I am grateful to the Lord for this message. I can’t wait to hear the testimonies that will come out of it. There is a confidence in God as He pours the message in my heart that everything will be okay. I have had burdens and cares about what the New Year will hold. What does the future holds? As usual I got the answer from the scripture – Matthew 17:24-27. I am good to go! I believe you too will be ready after reading this.
The tax people came and asked whether Jesus should pay tax or not. It was confirmed that being citizens, Jesus need not pay. Life might have been placing a lot of unwarranted demands on us and our lives and we are confused about what tomorrow holds. Will this sickness relapse? Will this bad relationship heal? Heaven says – It will be alright. Your son? Your husband? Your bank account – The Lord says it’s going to be alright.
Good news – It will be alright. Jesus started a 7 step process in verse 27 of Mattew 17 that shows me that it will be alright.
GOD SEES THE BIGGER PICTURE
Mat 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them.
His ways are not your ways. His style is not yours. Stop putting God in a box. He sees beyond what you can see. He does not engage in petty trivial matters. He looks at the larger picture. He asks questions to solve questions. He does things that removes doubts and lays matters to rest. He quells argument? His focus is to shut the mouth of opposition and problems such that there is no doubt about who helped you.
Lest we should offend them! God will do everything to make sure that the offenses in our lives are removed in the new year. In Luke 8:51-55, When Jesus came to the house of Jairus the daughter was already dead. However, He saw a different a picture. And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. He sees a bigger picture that our myopic minds cannot process. It’s not a dead end yet! If you are reading this -you have hope. Your business is only sleeping. You family is only sleeping – Heaven will raise them up. Jesus touched her! He will touch you and your spirit will come back. I once knew a woman who had triplets after 7 years of waiting. He sees the end from the beginning!
GOD HAS A PLAN – HE WILL CREATE A MOVEMENT
Mat 17:27 .. go thou,
Mat 17:27 ..So go to the lake
There will be significant progress henceforth. There will be movement! Stagnancy will cease. Long lost favor and contact that are stalled will reopen in the name of Jesus. Lethargic relationships will receive movements. Phone calls that are dead will ring again!
Because of the bigger picture that He has, He will give you an instruction to move that will save your life and family. Elisha warned the Shunammite woman in 2kings 8 and told her to “go” to a safe place as famine was about to start. She arose and left according to instruction and she was spared of the pain that was coming. The Lord’s plan for your life will be revealed! The Lord’s plan for you will be implemented!
I KNOW IT WILL BE ALRIGHT AS WE WILL GO AND OBEY
Ruth needed a change in her life. She needed to move forward. Naomi led her to her breakthroughs. It started with a plan in Ruth 3:3. “So wash yourself, put on some perfume, and get dressed in your best clothes. Then go where he is threshing, but don't let him know you are there until he has finished eating and drinking. Be sure to notice where he lies down, and after he falls asleep, go and lift the covers and lie down at his feet. He will tell you what to do."
Stop grumbling – you need a plan from God. Ruth answered, "I will do everything you say". Ruth obeyed - So Ruth went to the threshing place and did just what her mother-in-law had told her. OBEY! Marriages - old and new will be sorted out by instruction and obedience.
GOD HAS A TARGET FILLED WITH ABUNDANCE
“go thou to the sea,”
He sent peter to where he does not need training. He uses what you have as a basis for your miracles. He kept it simple. The target was the sea. The sea is a symbol of abundance. He will not send you to where scarcity will thrive. He will send you to where your opportunities will be limitless even in the face of famine. He will send you to where there are options to thrive. He will release variety into your life. God used Joseph in Genesis 41:48 to prepare the whole land of Egypt for abundance even in the midst of impending famine. “And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same” And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
You will gather! Your dreams will live!
GOD WILL REVEAL HIS STRATEGY AND PARTNERSHIP
“and cast an hook”
It will be alright but He will do his own part and requires your partnership. Have you been having a frosted relationship with someone important in your life? Yes He has softened His heart but you have to say the “sorry”. God will not apologize for you. You have to send the text and email apologizing. He has healed your assimilation capacity but you still have to read the book and prepare for the examinations. There is a side of heaven and there is a side of the earth. There is a place for the anointing and there is a place for wisdom. Always seat down and analyze which side is God’s and which side is yours. You are required to cast the hook! And cast it now. The King came to Elisha in 2Kings 13:18-19. Then Elisha told the king to take the other arrows and strike the ground with them. The king struck the ground three times, and then stopped.
2Kings 13:19 This made Elisha angry, and he said to the king, "You should have struck five or six times, and then you would have won complete victory over the Syrians; but now you will defeat them only three times."
Do your part and do it well. It’s going to be alright! Just do enough and Heaven will take it from there.
GOD HAS A STYLE. HE WILL USE HIS SWAGGER
“Pull up the first fish you hook”
When God does it, He does it neatly and He does it well. If you are struggling too hard to fix it, you may not be following the manufacturer’s manual. His style is uncomplicated. His style keeps it simple. Sometimes He seemingly allows things to fester and go from bad to worse and then with a master stroke – his style of maximum destruction of the enemy comes into play.
The Egyptians kept on coming. Foolish people! They kept on pursuing the children of Isreal into a terrain in a divided sea that they have not seen before – Can’t they see it was a trap! The Lord will set a trap for all your enemies.
Moses declared in Exo 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
If your enemies do not realize His style, He will surprise them - God will disable them.
IT IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT.
Follow his leading - all the time- He will lead you to the first fish.
Exo 13:21-22 - And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
GOD WILL USE HIS JOKER
“and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money:”
Even when you have thought He is finished, He still has something in the planned for you. The secret behind your hidden treasures, the Lord will reveal it! The best the lepers were hoping for was just to eat and die but His joker brought enough food for a whole city because they dared to go and follow His plan. 2Kings 7:8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. Its going to be alright! You will eat, you will drink and you will carry!
The best the Zarepath widow was hoping for was just to eat and die but His joker brought enough food for a whole season. 1Ki 17:15 The widow went and did as Elijah had told her, and all of them had enough food for many days.
GOD’S COUNSEL WILL STAND
“Take it and pay them our taxes."
Heaven does not chase shadows. He has a counsel. He has a purpose. He has intentions. Everything He has started is for a predetermined end result. You will not only be alright – it will be well.
What the Lord has started with His focus, the partnership will not waste! The Lord will pull the Joker that will make you end well. His style and swagger will bring His will in your life to pass. No matter what it is now – The end will be alright. Heaven is willing – are you ready!

26. Lord, you see beyond what I can see. By virtue of this – sort me out!
27. Daddy - You ask questions to solve questions. Ask me the question that will change my life permanently!
28. Do something great for me this new year that will remove any doubt that I serve you.
29. Let every tongue confess on my behalf that Jesus is Lord!
